Oh hey, thanks, Larry! For the link too, I hadn't heard his blues version of that song before.
And by the way, didn't you have a birthday recently? I think I heard/read that somewhere. So, wishing you a happy birthday, belated, and a happy whole 'nother year!
Ruth, was this a haiku you wrote for your birthday this week? Thrilled, I've turned the page to your words today. :) And if it was your birthday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Yes, my birthday was March 22nd. And thank you for the belateds, or whatever.
Q: Can anything be “belated” in eternal now? R: Well, duh…!
So happy birthday to me, to you, to Larry, to any- and every-body alive on this planet right now, not to mention any now that ever existed or will exist. We are gonna have having one h*** of a party!
Hey, Jen, thanks for stopping by! I remember you had a recent birthday as well. Is it just me, or are there an inordinate number of spring birthdays among gaia folk?
Hmm, March—marching into spring? Change? Marching to victory?
My mother once told me that I was born in the middle of the night during a blizzard. In Manitoba, March weather still looks a lot like winter, but not quite as predictable.
neat to be born in a blizzard. my mother told me I was conceived in yosemite. I hope so anyway. I like the idea of that. My mother told me when she was she was up that my name was supposed to be june renee. I was due in june. I came early and on the ride to the hospital my mother said to my father that we couldn't name me june so he thought about it and said. how about jennifer lee? I am so happy I was not born in june!!. like the month but I could do without the name. my father was born in march. march 4th. He is not longer alive but I always remember his birthday.
Something brought me here to share this thought with you.
Thanks for the great post, it was time for a comment ;-)
a door opens and reveals
forever is now

“forever is now” — yes!

Oh, silly me. The date says March 22nd. Happy belated birthday, then. :)
