This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 06, 2009:
It is my life. It underlies my life, under-lives it, connects all the threads, guides my day-to-day, moment-to-moment; there is not one aspect of my life that is uninvolved with, or unaffected by, spirit.
It brings me dreams and waking insights; floats me seagulls' feathers, or perfect-pointed red maple leaves; arranges an evening meeting between me and a young (deer) buck on a city sidewalk...

you have met your animal totem … nice; such a sweet description of the music that flows in your existence - thank you for sharing it.
Thank you.
It was the coolest thing, meeting that deer. When I got home I looked up its meaning as a totem. And I thought of my giraffe totem that came to me so clearly in a dream at the beginning of September… Is it possible to have more than one? I love what they both offer.
ah rudyan - your words are about spirituality are oh so familiar to me…
yes, rudyan, you can have both and you will find that often they complement each other; mine are an eagle and a turtle, in addition to a pair of lions (male and female) who were brought to me for a special reason. Honor them, be with them; they came to be with you for a reason.
Barbara, it's what I felt as well, that both came to me for a reason, gracing my life with the meld of their particular gifts. And I'm the one that feels honored… Thank you!
Terrill, thank so much, I find much that resonates with me in your words as well.
