This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 22, 2009:
Take a hike!

Get away from whatever it is I'm doing
(or not doing, as the case may be).

Come to think of it, I don't need the excuse of boredom to go on a hike.
And what is boredom anyway? I have never noticed it hanging around in here-now.
The reason I suggest hiking as an antidote to boredom is it takes me into nature,
and nature has a way of recalling me to the present moment.

Good answer! I think I could write a book based on this question. Hmmm….another NaNoWriMo possibility?
what a great picture. did you take it. I figure a walk always cures what ails me.
Kathy, I could probably write a book on this question too. Probably not about my own boredom though, as I'm seldom bored. (I expect that's the same for you?) And when someone around me moans about being bored I just want to tell them to go take a hike, and they can take it in the rude sense or in the good-for-you sense, depending on their preference. You can't be bored walking, you never know what will show up—a deer did the other evening, walking toward me on a city sidewalk!
Jenni, sadly I didn't take the picture, don't have a working camera at the moment. I know you walk a lot too.
Thanks you guys, for dropping by.
