What are you going to do next?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 05, 2008:
Have another coffee, get ready to meet up with a close friend who lives up island, dinner out (Thai? Indian? Italian?) and Rolling Stones Shine a Light: The Imax Experience (Scorsese). Oh, and of course, some writing and much talking.

Help

And now, after digesting dinner and movie, and some self-expression how are you?
Nell, thanks for stopping by.
Not sure I understand the question, any more than I understand the one behind this blog. Am I supposed to be/feel different than before? Can't say I do.
And self-expression pertains to all of it, doesn't it? (Not just the verbal aspects.)
Is it just me, or are boundaries fading?
Hi Rudyan,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts here. Did I in any way cross a boundary, you would have rather kept in place? If so, I do apologize sincerely.
Just stopped by to re-connect, as I had noticed you sharing that you were ”neither here, nor there”. Btw, from where I am sitting it seems a most intriguing place to keep boundaries: if neither here, nor there, where…? Yet, unknown places can be highly exciting.
“Not sure I understand the question, any more than I understand the one behind this blog.” “What are you going to do next?” definitely can take anyone out of the moment, which is why I thought it fun to ask a reflective question that includes your immediate past and 'the now'. I see now this caused confusion, which is can easily happen when we step out of the moment.
“Am I supposed to be/feel different than before?” Not necessarily. Is this the boundary you are feeling is fading? That someone other than you implies you better be feeling a certain way? I trust that the observation of your feelings is best left up to you!
Hope this helps clear things up.
Nell,
Did I in any way cross a boundary, you would have rather kept in place?
Not at all! I expect it's my “Is it just me, or are boundaries fading?” comment that made you question.
What I meant was that boundaries that I have always taken to be strong, even immutable (like those of time and place) lately seem to be developing fuzzy edges, so that there's a bit of a 'one time/ place' feel to events/ happenings in my life and world, as opposed to the more clearly delineated 'now vs. then' or 'here vs. there'. I like that.
Thanks!
Ruth
