If you could live your life over again, what would you change?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 01, 2007:
If I had been asked this question two or three years ago I would have said, "Everything!" But today my answer is, "Nothing!" because I can see now that every single thing that has happened, all the sadness and trauma and desperation that has coloured so much of my life, is exactly what has brought me to the love and peace and acceptance of who I am today. In my wildest dreams I couldn't have imagined myself in this place -- and yet here I am.

This comment is exactly as I see it also. I have thought or said this many times before. Every decision we make rather good or bad, brings us to where we are today. I am alive, and I have a daughter. I am divorced, but had I not met my ex-husband I would not have her in my life. Everything is meant to be for a reason. Now she has a little boy. Had I not moved back to my hometown my daughter would not have met the father of her little boy. I now live in another town, and she lives across the country. Everything is for a reason.
